Redeemers’ Men’s fellowship holds anchor 2024, tasks men on startups

Pastor-In-Charge of Province 16, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Biyi Famoyegun, has postulated that for believers’ life to be radiant and considered wholesome, it is pertinent that four essential pillars namely family, finance, fitness and faith are firmly rooted and stable.

He said this at the 2nd edition of Redeemers’ Men Fellowship, Lagos Province 16, titled “Anchor 2024,” with theme: “Evidence of His Glory” and held at the Church Auditorium in Victoria Island, Lagos.

“Evidence of His Glory has to manifest in every facet of our lives and God has led us in this direction this year” he said.

Harping on the essence of the programme, Famoyegun said, itis toassist men to play their role in the family, especially now there is sufferings in the land, adding that the programme would help lift them out of poverty, remove their names from the list of beggars occasioned by the economic situation and increase their faith.

The General Secretary, The Redeemers’ Men’s Fellowship, Anchor 2024, Charles Okeibunor tasked men on startups as dry cleaning business, intra-city transport among others, saying the church would them with the essentials to run such businesses.

He also noted that different forums have been created for men to freely express themselves, aside creating avenues for mingling, bonding and networking.

He described the role of fathers or men in nation building as shepherding the family and to also lay the foundation of values, adding that the best restructuring is mental restructuring.
