Rhema Christian Church and Towers, Otta, is set to usher worshippers into the New Year with prayers for peace, restoration and divine direction as it hosts Bethel Peace Day Service on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Holding at Champion Peace Cathedral, Temidire, Sango Otta, at 3:00 p.m., leaders in the church has described the event as a “moment of divine encounter” for individuals, families and the nation.
With theme on peace and divine renewal, organisers say the Bethel Peace Day Service will be a prophetic gathering designed to help worshippers seek God’s face for peace, spiritual renewal, increase and all-round restoration in the New Year.
In a statement released to the The Guardian, organisers say the event is not just another church programme, but a call for members and invited guests to align with God’s agenda for peace and restoration, saying God is set to meet His people in a special way like this. The programme will begin with Bethel Vigil on Friday, January 24, at 11:00 p.m.
Participants attending the vigil are expected to come with seven prayer points for the year, symbolising their expectations and areas where they seek divine intervention and supernatural breakthroughs.
“As we wait on the Lord together, we trust that clear direction and uncommon testimonies will be released,” the church noted, emphasising the importance of corporate prayer at the start of the year.
Archbishop Taiwo Akinola and Bishop Iretioluwa Akinola, will be ministering at the inter-denomination event expected to draw worshippers from different parts of Lagos and Ogun state.
