The Evangelical Ark Mission (TEAM) International based in the Philippines and under the leadership of a Nigerian-born Bishop, Tony Marioghae, and seven other faithful individuals clocked 20 years in April 2026.

The TEAM seen as one of the largest Christian churches in both Asia and the Philippines has the biggest church in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila. It boasts a strong and influential presence, with buildings and empowerment centres strategically located around the globe.

To mark its 20th anniversary, a conference with the theme: “Undeniable Increase,” was held. The organisers brought together elected and appointed government officials, captains of industry, celebrities and prominent international preachers representing different countries, including the USA, Brazil, Ethiopia, Denmark, Canada, Brunei, Nigeria and Japan, at the TEAM Convention Centre in Las Piñas City.

The two-week event featured keynote speakers and personalities, including Bishop Noel Jones; Apostle Matheus Busto; Dr. Akwasi Oppong Amoabeng; Dr. Roberts Liardon; and His Excellency Tamrat Layne Admassu, the former Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

Others were Governor Lray Villafuerte of Camarines Sur Province and his family, former lawmaker and Daisy Reyes-Tobias; Congressman Luigi Villafuerte, and the Mayor of Las Piñas City, April Aguilar.

Mayor Aguilar eloquently commended TEAM for the significant transformation it has brought to the city, and its impact in the community.

The celebrant, Bishop Marioghae and his team used the conference to define a bold strategic development vision and ambitious goals for individuals, organisations, government institutions, cities and nations.

TEAM’s influence and leadership role has been regarded by various platforms as one of the most influential African or black preachers in Asia with the largest foreign congregation.
