Why we celebrate Christ’s birth every October — GKS
Members and friends of the God’s Kingdom Society (GKS), the Church of the Living God would be celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God every Sunday in October beginning from today. To mark the anniversary, the GKS President, Brother Felix Ekundayo Adedokun would be addressing members on the themes: “Will The World Ever Know Peace and Safety?” and “Was Christ Born On Christmas Day?”
The Acting Publicity Secretary of the Church, Brother Emmanuel Oriaku, in a statement, said that activities of the Freedom Day celebration would be holding at various centres in Nigeria, Ghana, United Kingdom, Canada and the United States of America on designated dates, according to a schedule already released for the event. As an international Christian organisation dedicated to the preaching of the gospel, GKS has been celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ in October right from its inception. Other activities marking the celebration include musical performances and special Thanksgiving to God.
