This is the Time of God’s Help: Understanding the Times and seasons is very important, as it helps us to key into what God is doing rather than follow the trends of the world.

Implications For Our Walk With God

This is the Time of God’s Help: Understanding the Times and seasons is very important, as it helps us to key into what God is doing rather than follow the trends of the world. This is God’s Time to help His own. This is the season of the Holy Spirit and the move of God in righteousness. This is the time for God to save and deliver as many as will call upon Him. In the midst of the catastrophic events of our times, God is saying to us “And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the LORD call” [Joel 2:32].

Also, 2 Corinthians 6:2 affirms that “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” This is the time of the Holy Spirit moving to touch lives and change people’s situations. He is our Helper per excellence, the Promise of the Father to God’s children, our Teacher, our Guide, our Leader, our Comforter, our Enabler, our Healer and Encourager and the Lifter of our head. This is the time to glorify the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the Time of God.

Total Victory through Faith in Jesus Christ: As we face trials, attacks, persecution and falsehood and deceptions of our generation, we must hold strongly to Faith in Jesus Christ and the Truth of the Word of God. Jesus has given us victory over the enemies’ trickery and strategies. Jesus has disarmed and destroyed the powers of the enemies. The Word of God remains sure weapon against the sin, the world and the devil. The proclamation of the Gospel remains the weapon of God [Rom.1: 16-17]. Our Faith in Christ Jesus is the victory that overcomes the world [1John 5:4-5].

Persevere till the end, and you shall be victorious and shall have the crown of life.
Focus on the Eternal Destination: God is our dwelling place, therefore, ultimately, Heaven is our Eternal Home. Heaven is our destination. This is our real Rest, “dwelling Place.” Jesus asked “What shall it profit a man if he will gain the whole world and lose his soul?” The salvation of our soul and eternal rest with God in Heaven is worth more than any other. Sometimes, it is better to have the torn in our flesh and remain in God’s grace and make heaven. Sometimes, it may be that we may lose an eye, or have the hand or leg cut off and suffer for the faith in Christ Jesus than to have our whole body cast into the lake of fire. In John 14:1-3, our Lord Jesus Christ says, ‘Let not your heart be troubled, you believe… “I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” Jesus Christ is coming back again very soon, prepare to meet the Lord Jesus Christ.

Conclusion
God is still in the business and work of helping His servants who put their trust in Him (Acts 12). Our theme evokes memories of God’s help in the past. It reminds us of the experience of God’s help in the present, but it also points us to the aspirations of God’s purpose in the future. No matter our situation, no matter our struggles and fears, we should have courage and faith, for the Lord God Almighty is our Help.
