CHRIST is altogether lovely. He is holy and righteous. He loves righteousness and hates iniquity. He is good, faithful, true, just and patient. Jesus came to take away our sins.

“God, who at sundry times and in diverse manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high”
(Hebrews 1:1-3).

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth” (Revelation 3:7).

CHRIST is altogether lovely. He is holy and righteous. He loves righteousness and hates iniquity. He is good, faithful, true, just and patient. Jesus came to take away our sins. Knowing more about Him should be our utmost desire. His efforts towards rescuing mankind from destruction must be appreciated. Jesus is God’s incarnate. Jesus can be considered as the second Adam and the Son of God (God the son). Jesus’ relationship with the Father makes Him heir of all things. According to Hebrews 1:2, through Him, the world was created. The divinity of Christ is proven by His ability to create. In history, no one possesses the power to create, but Jesus Christ. He is the true image of God. The perfect reflection of God is Christ. As we know, no one has seen God, but some have been opportune to see God’s partial glimpses or reflection. God’s visible portion is Christ and through Christ, we can see God’s amazing glory. Even the human nature of Christ, which began in Mary’s womb, is more honoured than any creation. Jesus Christ was God in the flesh. “But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you” (1Peter 1:19-20). The image of God in man was marred, because man ate the forbidden fruit. Jesus died and shed His blood to take away transgressions, because of the love He had for humanity. He did the work of redemption.

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:8-10). This is why we obey His commandments, worship, praise and honour Him. Parts of His commandments are, love God with your whole heart and your neighbour as yourself. You can’t love God while sin still exists in your life. Those who love God must forsake sin. The source of life is Jesus. He is the source of physical, natural and spiritual life. If you want life today, accept Jesus because He is life. He is the truth, the way and the life. Jesus was sinless, but He took our deserved punishment. He died for all, to ensure those who accept Him are saved.

Unfortunately, many do not accept Christ as God’s reflection. They don’t believe Christ is the light of this world, because Satan has blindfolded them. The only way they can be saved is to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Jesus is the Messiah Who will come again to take the saints home and judge the world.
