The 16th biennial medical students games will kick off next week, March 14. According to statement released by the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the games, the weeklong event, which will be hosted by the University of Benin Medical Students Association (UBEMSA) will take place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Sports Centre, Ugbowo Campus.

The statement added that no fewer than 30 medical schools across the country would compete for laurels in swimming, basketball, volleyball, soccer, table tennis, athletics, handball, ayo, lawn tennis, athletics, taekwando and others.

Rounding off on March 20, the event would be chaired by the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole.
