The office of the vice president of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students (PANS), has included beauty pageant among events to mark its yearly health week. The pageant held at the Doctors’ House in front of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).

According to PANS vice president, Courage Omoregbe, “this year’s contest was patronised by many contestants, which made us to carry out a preliminary elimination stage. We were shocked by the massive turn out of contestants and we had hard time reducing the number for the grand finale.

“Miss Ultra-Cal-C pageant is always appreciated by UNIBEN female students, this is because the processes are not marred by irregularities and students have trust in the whole process,” she said.

Speaking at the event, the president, Benjamin Idiakhoa, disclosed that he knew the contestants for the first time at the events.
