The Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has relocated to Abuja in order to ensure justice for Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, who is eyeing the Alagbakala Government House.

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of recruiting members of All Progressive Congress (APC) as ad-hoc staff ahead of Edo governorship poll.

Zakari explained that INEC required time to budget, plan,‎ train and post the personnel for the election, regretting the circumstances that led to the suspension of the Rivers rerun elections.
