Embattled President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), Ibrahim Gusau has called for a board meeting of the federation, an action some members see as ‘desperate move’ to undermine the power of the Sports Minister, Sunday Dare, who set up a probe panel three days ago to investigate the federation’s activities.

The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has disclosed that it would return to schools in its bid to develop athletics at the grassroots level.
