Baru, gas flaring and meaningless deadline

The seemingly interminable saga of gas flaring in Nigeria may at last be coming to an end. The Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Maikanti Baru made this claim at the 50th offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Huston, Texas the other day.
