Our calling is to glory

Peter appropriately describes our calling as a call to glory (1 Pet.5:10). Paul, on the other hand, said we are called to his kingdom and glory (1 Thes.2:12). Some think that the call of God is a condemnation to perpetual poverty and wretched living.
