Lagos State government has arrested two people involved in an attack on officials of Vehicle Inspection Services (VIS) along Airport Road in Oshodi area of the state.
There were chaotic scenes yesterday at various vehicle inspection centres in Lagos as motorists were seen lamenting the long queues they are forced to experience.
The Lagos State Government has said the newly introduced ‘no-vehicle inspection, no road-worthiness policy’ is an exercise targeted at compliance, rather than revenue earning for the State Government.
