The Wellbeing Foundation Africa (WBFA), Nutrition International, and the Government of Canada, in partnership with Kano and Sokoto states have teamed up for the second phase of the Project on ‘Scaling Up Zinc and LO-ORS to Improve Childhood Diarrhoea Treatment in Northern Nigeria’.

Midwives are capable of providing 87 per cent maternal care for mothers and newborns in Nigeria, if their capacity is increased to improve the health service delivery within the country.

To eradicate childhood diarrhea in Northern Nigeria, the Wellbeing Foundation Africa said it has reached over 38,980 caregivers in 80 health facilities in Sokoto and Kano states.
