Fieldbase has announced a series of new features for its enterprise software platform, with upgrades to the Fieldbase Portal forming the centrepiece of its 2025 Stakeholder Event.
Frontend Developer, Anna Cotterel, presented the updates in a live demonstration, outlining how the tools are designed to improve operational control, security, and efficiency for enterprise clients.
“Among the most notable features in development are advanced notification and alert systems designed to keep operators ahead of issues before they escalate, the ability to set router passwords directly from the portal without on-site intervention, and expanded multi-user access levels that allow organisations to define tiered permissions for different operational roles,” Cotterel said.
She also disclosed that billing integration will be introduced into the platform, allowing users to manage accounts directly without reliance on external systems.
According to Cotterel, the upgrades reflect client feedback from sectors managing large-scale and dispersed networks, including offshore platforms and rural connectivity projects.
“We design with the end user in mind,” she said. “It’s about anticipating challenges before they appear and building tools that adapt in real time.”
The presentation stressed Fieldbase’s strategy of aligning software improvements with operational demands across industries, focusing on connectivity, infrastructure management, and secure access.
The session formed part of the company’s wider discussions with stakeholders on the future of enterprise digital solutions.
