Eazyply, a human resources technology startup founded by U.S.-based Nigerian entrepreneur Olalekan Yekinni, has launched an artificial intelligence-powered recruitment platform aimed at improving the visibility of African professionals in the global labour market.

The platform comprises two products: Eazyply Talent Passport, a digital professional profile that enables users to showcase their skills, certifications, projects and verified work history beyond a conventional curriculum vitae (CV), and Eazyply Business, a recruitment solution that allows employers to source candidates, manage hiring processes and collaborate across recruitment teams.

Speaking on the initiative, Yekinni said the platform was developed to address recruitment challenges that often limit qualified African professionals’ access to employment opportunities, particularly as competition for skilled talent increases globally.

According to him, the platform is designed to help employers identify candidates based on verified skills and experience rather than personal networks.

“Our vision is simple, we want talented people to be discovered because of what they can do, not because they know the right person,” he said.

He added that the platform seeks to connect job seekers with recruiters and employers across Nigeria, other African countries, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, while enabling businesses to streamline their hiring processes.

Beyond recruitment, Yekinni said the company is partnering with universities, technology training institutions and workforce development organisations to help graduates and professionals create verified Talent Passports that can be accessed by prospective employers.

He said the startup has attracted users from several countries since its launch, reflecting growing demand for digital recruitment tools, although the company did not disclose user numbers or other performance metrics.

Yekinni added that the company aims to contribute to Africa’s digital economy by supporting workforce development, improving access to remote work opportunities and helping businesses identify qualified talent across different markets.

“We believe Africa’s greatest resource is its people. Our mission is to ensure that talent is no longer limited by geography whether you are a graduate in Lagos, a software engineer in Abuja, a designer in Accra, or an employer in London or Toronto,” he said.
