Firms chart path to IT control solutions

A business process outsourcing (BPO) company, Avetium Consult, is in talks with ManageEngine, a management software firm, on how to advance IT control solutions in the country.  
 
The event tagged: ‘TechExec Brunch Session’ held in Lagos, which attracted chief information officers, chief technology officers and heads of IT from different industries, provided a platform to discuss cutting-edge IT management solutions and their potential to enhance business processes.
    
Speaking at the event, Managing Director of Avetium Consult, Adeyinka Adedokun, highlighted the critical elements necessary for modern IT operations.
 
“In today’s world, it’s essential to focus on data security, system agility, and cost optimization in IT operations.
 
“Our partner, ManageEngine, is dedicated to these priorities. This gathering aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas, strategies, and goals, allowing us to explore and standardise improvements in IT operations across our organisations,” he stated.
 
During his demonstration of ManageEngine tools, Senior Sales Executive (Africa) for ManageEngine, Srinivasan Rajasekar, emphasised that the company’s enterprise-grade solutions make monitoring, managing, and securing IT infrastructure achievable.
 
He noted that ManageEngine has established itself as a leader by developing cutting-edge solutions for IT operations, streamlining processes, automating tasks, and enhancing productivity.
 
He said the company offers a wide range of solutions, including Identity and Access Management, Enterprise Service Management, Endpoint Management and Security, IT Operations Management, Security Information and Event Management, Advanced IT Analytics, Low-code App Development, Cloud Solutions for Enterprise IT, Privileged Access Management, and Remote Work Management.
 
Senior Channel Manager at Tranter-IT, Henry Agbonze, highlighted the long-standing and fruitful business relationship between Tranter-IT and ManageEngine, which has lasted nearly two decades.
“We are distributors for ManageEngine products, which is why we are involved,” Agbonze explained.
  
“Avetium Consult is also our partner. Since they joined us, we’ve seen many opportunities that have positively impacted our ROI,” he stated.
 
He added that while Tranter-IT has partners in Abuja, Kaduna, and Kano, over 80 percent of their partners are based in Lagos.
