Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief in Delta State, Oyibo Olumami, has described Atiku Abubakar/Ifeanyi Okowa ticket for the 2023 presidential election as perfect for the growth of the nation.

Speaking with journalists in Asaba, yesterday, he stated that the duo have all it would take to usher in development, progress and growth for the well-being of citizens.

He said Abubakar is a former Vice President of Nigeria, and his running mate, the governor of Delta State, has the requisite knowledge and experience to bring relief to the nation.

According to him, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a politician, who has made friends across segments of the country and had also held very important positions of trust, which qualifies him for the President’s seat.

He described Okowa as a thoroughbred grassroots politician, who started as a councillor, council secretary, council chairman, commissioner, Secretary to the State Government, senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently, Delta State Governor, saying it is evident that Okowa is gifted administratively.
