NHN Women network holds 9th annual retreat in Qatar


The NHN Women Network, a nonprofit organization founded by .Mrs. Nkechi Harry Ngonadi, has announced its 9th Annual Retreat,scheduled to take place from October 24 to October 31, 2024 in Doha, Qatar.

Themed: “From pain to purpose,”Ngonadi, who is also the CEO NHN Cout said the Network is a call to utilize social media for Kingdom purposes, has grown significantly since inception.

She noted the theme, “emphasizes the journey each woman endures to become everything God has called her to be. The retreat will focus on enduring trials, carrying burdens, facing exhaustion, and trusting the process, as encapsulated in 1 Peter 5:10. It promises to be a transformative experience where participants can gain strength, restoration, and a renewed sense of purpose.”

Speaking further, she disclosed the Network’s most prominent branch, NHN The Warroom, focuses on prayer and intercession.

To Ngonadi, NHN The Warroom’s mission is to reach the world through the altar of prayers, interceding for lost souls and winning them to Christ.

Specifically, she revealed the retreat aims to enhance the spiritual, physical, and mental wellness of imembers, by providing rejuvenating experience where women can rest, unwind, and share their stories.

“The ultimate goal is to equip participants with tools and inspiration needed to achieve victory in every life circumstance.The retreats have taken participants to destinations such as Turkey, Dubai, London, and SSingapore. This yyear’s retreat will feature renowned speakers such as Apostle Femi Lazarus, Mrs. Tara Fela-Durotoye, Apostle Oluchi Elkuris, Rev. Christie Bature. There will be prophetic sessions by Pastor Israel Olajumoke.”

The panel sessions, she further explained, will feature, Mrs. Amaka Chika Mbonu, Mrs. Veekee James Atere, Mrs. Catherine Abagun, Ms. Prudent Gabriel, Gusi Tobby LordWilliams, Pastor Delphine Nforgwei, and Obiamaka OrOragwu.

Additionally, there will be lunch tea party with guest speakers like Mrs. Betty Irabor, Shaffy Bello, May Yul-Edochie, Pastor Grace Ofure, Barr. Gozie Udemezue, Mrs. Uju Arinze Chukwuka, and Dr. Eden Onwuka,

Survivors of trauma and loss will share their stories, offering encouragement and addressing healing .

Over the years, this self-funded network has achieved remarkable milestones. It has reached over 12 million individuals through media, constructed three rural churches, supported students in eight Nigerian states with school fees, paid for JAMB forms in five rural states, assisted with hospital bills, and engaged in various economic empowerment programmes. Inspired by teachings from Matthew 6:33 and Job 42:10, the network dedicates two hours and 40 minutes daily to prayer and fasting, conducts regular meetings, quarterly fasting sessions, and annual events to further its mission.
