No fewer than 71 pupils have passed out of Achievax Base Schools, Alakuko, Lagos State.
Among them was Favour, Omotola, the Head girl and daughter of the owner of the schools.
At the schools’ 16th graduation, the graduands were entertained by the pupils. There were presentations from the various arms of the schools: KG, Nursery, primary and secondary.
The events kicked off with a welcome song by the schools’ choir, followed by spelling bees, choreographies, debates and fashion parades. Their teachers were not left out as they spiced the day with dances.
The schools’ Proprietor, Mr. Ayodeji Omotola, who was elated, especially because of his daughter, said the seeds of the schools he planted in 2008, had grown into an oak tree.
Feeling fulfilled, he described the day as “a milestone” in the lives of our graduating students. He thanked God, parents and teachers for their immense support to the school, saying without them it would have been difficult.
He noted that the schools have waxed stronger in numerical strength and provision of modern facilities from its humble beginning to enhance the pupils’ training and all-round development.
The chairperson on the occasion, Mrs Abimbola Adeyemi, a make-up artist, advised parents to prioritise their wards’ education, saying it is the best legacy they could leave for them.
She also advised the graduates.
