Currently based in the United Kingdom, Teeben said his music career started at a young age when he started mimicking the songs of his favorite superstars and hoped that one day his formidable star would rise and shine brightly as those he had admired growing up.

He said he has been playing musical instruments from a tender age to date prior to when he recorded and released his debut track single in 2017, tagged “Jenifer.”

From his days at the university, Teeben has consistently developed his artistry and evolved into a musical maestro who is set to appeal to the international market with his talent.

Teeben said his views about making music are peculiar and notes that his growth from creating music in Nigeria and moving into the United Kingdom, has been one with much evidence. According to him, “My music is a blend of cultural diversity.

“Growing up in the city of Port Harcourt has given birth to the huge influence surrounding my music.”

He specifically highlights how his current musical style mirrors Port Harcourt pidgin language with his artistry embodying originality, unique vocal allure and Afropop elements.

Teeben said his recent three track extended play titled “Aboy EP,” is a craftsmanship of an idiosyncratic form of music. He said he has been embracing his musical roots from the city of Port Harcourt even though he originally hails from Anambra State.

“The formative years of my music career in 2017, when I began to publicly show the world my musical prowess was heavily influenced by the globally recognized singer Justin Bieber,” Teeben said.

“I have found my sound and I am glad. I am ready to take on the entire global music market,” he said.

He disclosed that in 2022, Mr. Eazi, the pioneer of Empawa Africa recognized his sound.

According to Teeben, “I was shocked. The day Mr Eazi inboxed me on Twitter, my mind was blown and that confirmation from someone like Eazi, only meant I was on the right path.”

Today in the United Kingdom, amongst Bradford University Masters degree scholars and undergraduates, Teeben’s sound is beginning to resonate with bulk individuals.

While he has kept launching from one recognition to another, lately after the release of his debut project “Aboy EP,” he had encouraging feedback from one of the biggest Afro-beats promoters in the UK Adesope Shopsydoo.

Teeben said his music keeps skyrocketing on digital music stores with his art continually appealing to homegrown people within the UK music market.

Next year Teeben’s live concert UK would storm and paint West London city vibes and inshallah.

“For categorizing the nature of music he creates, I term it Afro-beat with the “s” appreciating the fact that I can’t be a boxed super star, and that his time for global domination is closing in. As for music collaborations, I looks forward to working with UK acts like Tion Wayne, the famed American singer Billie Ellish, and other exceptional talents from Nigeria like Burna Boy, Davido and Wizkid.”
