Paul Femi Ashiru, popularly known as Paulash Panache, is an award-winning show and club promoter, musician, brand strategist, and social media influencer. Known as the “Lituation King” on Instagram, where he boasts over 80,000 followers, Paulash shares photos from his events and club tours, captivating audiences with his dynamic presence.

Paulash Panache has become a household name, renowned for his ability to release and promote potential hit songs and talents. He has released two hit songs, “No Girlfriend No Problem” and “Lituation,” both of which have resonated with fans and further established his reputation in the entertainment industry.

Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Paulash comes from a clergy family. His late father, Reverend Dr. Samuel Femi Ashiru, owned churches, influencing Paulash’s early love for music as he participated in the church choir. His mother, Mrs. H.O.D. Ashiru, a retired school headmistress, also had a passion for music, which she passed on to him.

“I’m from a clergy family. My late dad owned churches, and that influenced my love for music because I was part of the choristers; and my mum, a retired school headmistress, also had a thing for music,” Paulash reflects.

Paulash attended Temitope Nursery and Primary School in Somolu and Baptist Academy Obanikoro for secondary school. He later earned a BSc in Botany from the University of Lagos.

Paulash discovered his passion for entertainment at a young age and started his brand “Panache Empire” in 2012, rebranding to “Paulash Panache” in 2018. His career has since flourished, promoting artists and brands through his popular weekly event, “Lituation Fridays.”

“Lituation Fridays is a weekly event that happens every Friday where we get to celebrate life and ease out the stress. The initiative is synonymous with TGIF! Get me lit! where we host birthdays, trending personalities, celebrities, and promote new talents and good vibes in general,” Paulash explains.

Paulash has promoted numerous DJs, models, social media celebrities, influencers, and socialites. He has featured celebrities like Reekado Banks, Kizz Daniel, Humble Smith, Niniola, Falz, Lil Kesh, Mayorkun, Patoranking, Mr. Eazi, and Dice Allies. He has worked with top clubs in Lagos, such as Quilox, Rumours, Cubana, Phantom, House 38, Club Litehouse, The Place, Crystals, and Club 57. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, his events were hosted at Club 57 Ikoyi, and they have now resumed at Caesars Lounge VI.

Paulash has received several nominations and won numerous awards in recognition of his work. He was rated seventh among the top 10 young entertainment personalities in Nigeria by Charlene K-WordPress.com.

Paulash shares valuable advice for young African artists: “First, you’ve got to believe in yourself and also love the craft itself. The love you’ve got for the craft will take you farther than you can imagine because even when things don’t seem smooth, the passion and love you’ve got for the craft will keep you going.

“Focus on making good music, be unique, and perfect your sound. As an upcoming artist, know that your family and friends are your supporters, not your fans. Your fans are people who follow your brand, buy your music, and download your content, so cherish them when you meet them.

“There is a lot of competition out there with many young talents springing up. Promote yourself through social media, radio, television, blogs, influencers, OAPs, and DJs. Although some promotion platforms are expensive, it is important to start somewhere. Labels rarely sign artists without a successful independent career. Promotion is endless, and publicity is never enough.”

Paulash Panache’s journey from a clergy family in Lagos to becoming a nightlife and entertainment mogul serves as an inspiration to many. His dedication, innovation, and passion for the craft have made him a significant figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
