Recognising the crucial role travel plays in professional development, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has sealed a partnership deal with Touchdown Travels Limited, a travel management company with focus on quality service in the sale of flight tickets to clients, to ensure that its members get a fair and better travel options.
The collaboration promises to provide ICAN members with unparalleled access to discounted travel options, making it easier for them to explore, discover, and connect.
The partnership was sealed during the recently held the 2025 Western Zonal Accountants Conference in Lagos, themed ‘Accounting Profession Beyond Numbers: Innovate to Elevate Professional Excellence.’
Commenting on the partnership development, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Touchdown Travels Limited, Dayo Adeola said: “We recognised the crucial role travel plays in professional development, and we reinforced our commitment to provide easy access to travel management services for all registered ICAN members.
“We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to travel, whether it’s for business, education, or leisure. Our commitment to exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction remains the driving force behind everything we do.
“As part of our mission to support professional growth and ease of travel, we proudly partnered with ICAN for the Western Zonal Accountants Conference 2025.”
Incorporated in 1993, Adeola stated that Touchdown Travels Limited has, in the 31 years of its existence, remained a trusted name in the travel industry, offering seamless services which cut across flight and hotel reservations, airport transfers, visa assistance, travel insurance, tour packages, and more.
He noted that like most admired companies with a humble start, the company has grown from two staff to 46, adding that it has been positioned as a leader with a clear professional presence in the Nigerian travel industry.
According to him, the firm’s role extends beyond business. “We see it as our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to give back to society. Our partnership with ICAN reflects our dedication to bridging gaps and making travel more accessible for all.
“To further our commitment, we awarded two return tickets to Dubai and extended special flight discounts for ICAN members, acknowledging the economic realities and offering our support in a tangible way. As we move forward, we look to expand our reach through meaningful collaborations, ensuring that travel remains a right, not a privilege,” he said.
