Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Abelinis Limited, Abiodun Oshinibosi, has promised to channel the proceeds of his book, Project Manager Extraordinaire (PMX), to polio eradication efforts through Rotary Club International.
The virtual unveiling of the book, which will be held today, coincides with Oshinibosi’s 50th birthday. The literature represents a huge contribution to the field of project management and the experiential marketing industry.
It demonstrates how project management principles promote experiential marketing, offering valuable insights drawn from Oshinibosi’s extensive career across project management and experiential marketing.
His words: “Project Manager Extraordinaire aims to dispel the misconception that project management is limited to IT and engineering fields. When we talk about project management, everybody thinks it’s about IT, engineering, etc., but project management, in the experiential marketing space, is a discipline that cuts across irrespective of the field .
“This book is my way of giving back to society as I celebrate my 50th birthday, by sharing what has helped me navigate successfully through the years in this industry.”
He continued: “The book specifically targets students studying project management, recent graduates, and entry-level project managers in marketing agencies. It addresses not only theoretical frameworks but also the practical aspects that distinguish exceptional project managers.
“Our target is not middle managers, but the younger ones because, majorly, you may know the act or the framework, but not the right habits and attitude to run as a project manager.”
