The Federal Government has sympathised with the people and government of Iran following the tragic explosion at the Shahid Rajaee Port, located near the Strait of Hormuz, at the weekend.
The blast resulted in the loss of at least 28 lives, with more than 800 others injured.
In a statement issued yesterday by spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa, the Nigerian government solidarise with Iran, offering heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
It also commended the swift actions of emergency responders in the wake of the disaster and urged continued support for those affected by the tragic event.
