Tanzania, Nigeria trade gets boost with new flight initiative

The High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Selestine Gervas Kakele, has announced plans to establish seamless flights between the two countries to promote trade and business.

This announcement was made by Kakele at a three-day Food and Beverage Exhibition in West Africa, which attracted over 6,000 visitors and 300 participants in Nigeria.

According to him, they are in the final stages, and the flight is expected to commence operations within this year.

The Tanzania High Commission not only participated in the exhibition as a regional organisation but also showcased various products made in Tanzania.

At the event, Kakele reiterated the importance of Tanzanians leveraging the West African market, particularly Nigeria, due to its large population and economic potential.

In the same vein, he urged Tanzanians to participate in various exhibitions in Nigeria to promote Tanzanian products.
