Fortune, Ajegunle shine as U-14 league enters week nine

Ajegunle United Sporting Club and Fortune Football Academy were the big winners at the Week Eight of the Nathaniel Idowu-Ajegunle U-14 Football League, which delivered drama, goals, and standout performances from the teams.
 
Ajegunle United shook off their recent slump with a 2-0 home victory over Divinely Blessed FA, thanks to James Solomon’s brace in the 43rd and 46th minutes. His decisive display earned him the Man of the Match award.
  
Strong Dove FA extended their winning streak by edging Moree Wins FA 2-1. Early goals from Ayinla Samod and Ajadi Ibrahim set the tone, while Lawal Jamiu pulled one back for Moree Wins. Ayinde Taiye’s commanding midfield presence secured him the Man of the Match award.
 
Pure Talents FA produced the most emphatic result of the round, dismantling Michael May FA 6-0. Ajaloleru Yesir stole the show with a hat-trick and earned Man of the Match, while teammates Chukwu Gozie and Igbowu Adeleke added to the rout.
 
Fortune FA continued their dominance at the top of the table with a resounding 7-1 win over Young 11 FA. Odeshola Odunayo’s brace and all-round brilliance earned him Man of the Match, as teammates Lateef Wasiu, Alao Quadri, and Akinola Olajide also found the net.
 
The final clash saw Bright Future FA and Coal City FA battle to a 1-1 draw. Anine Emmanuel opened the scoring for Coal City before Ezike Favour equalized from the spot.

Emmanuel’s spirited performance earned him Man of the Match.
 
With Fortune FA solidifying their grip on first place, the league table has been shaken up once again. 
 
All eyes now turn to Week Nine as the quest for supremacy in the Nathaniel Idowu-Ajegunle U14 League continues.
