The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Medical Sciences UNIMED), Ondo State, Prof. Ebunoluwa Adejuyigbe, has extolled the national leader of the pan Yoruba socio-political organisation, Pa Reuben Fasoranti as a symbol of principled leadership.
With the elder statesman attaining the milestone of a century on earth, Adejuyigbe, in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Isaac Oluyi hailed the centenarian’s enduring influence on education, justice, and national cohesion.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasised that Fasoranti’s decadeys of advocacy for good governance and equity have firmly established his place in Nigeria’s history.
Adejuyigbe further pointed to the Afenifere leader’s contributions to educational development as lasting footprints that current and future generations must emulate.
She described the centenarian as a figure whose moral strength has continued to inspire Nigerians across ethnic and political lines.
“Pa Fasoranti’s life exemplifies uncommon patriotism, humility, and unwavering dedication to the service of humanity. At 100, Baba remains a shining symbol of principled leadership and moral strength whose legacy continues to inspire generations of Nigerians,” the Vice-Chancellor stated.
“His steadfast advocacy for good governance, equity, and societal progress has earned him a revered place in the history of our nation. We are proud to celebrate a father whose life has positively impacted countless individuals and communities.”
Adejuyigbe prayed for continued good health, peace, and divine grace for the elder statesman, expressing hope that his wisdom and exemplary life would continue to guide younger generations.
“As Pa Fasoranti marks this historic milestone, we join millions of admirers across Nigeria and beyond in thanking God for a life of remarkable service, sacrifice, and honour,” the Vice-Chancellor said.
