Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, is set to formally receive the victims rescued from the recent school abduction in Oriire Local Government Area at the Executive Council Chambers, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, today.

 

The reception is expected to mark the official return of the rescued victims following their safe recovery by security operatives. Government officials, security chiefs and other key stakeholders are expected to attend the event.

 

The development comes amid ongoing efforts by the Oyo State Government and security agencies to strengthen measures against kidnapping and ensure the safety of schools and residents across the state.
