…Inducted into Ghana’s entrepreneurship institute

The Chief Executive Officer of Dee Utensils, Amb. Lois Ihwo, has added another prestigious international recognition to her growing list of accomplishments following her conferment with an Honorary Doctorate Degree (Doctor of Science) in International Business and Management and Corporate Governance by the Board of the International Entrepreneurship University, Delaware, USA.

The honour recognises her outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship, corporate leadership, business development, and her unwavering commitment to empowering individuals and communities through enterprise.

In another significant milestone, Amb. Ihwo was also inducted as a Fellow of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (IEED), Ghana, further affirming her reputation as one of Africa’s leading private sector entrepreneurs whose leadership continues to inspire excellence across the continent.

According to the honorary doctorate certificate, jointly signed by the President of International Entrepreneurship University, Prof. Robert Clarke, and the institution’s Director, Dr. Lorenzo, the recognition entitles Amb. Ihwo to all the rights, privileges, and honours associated with the prestigious academic distinction.

The latest recognition comes on the heels of several notable honours she has received in recent years. In 2025, she was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree by American Management University, California, USA, and was also named Most Inspiring Entrepreneur of the Year at the 15th Peace Achievers Awards, organised by the Peace Ambassadors Agency.

She is equally the recipient of the Abuja Female Entrepreneur of the Year award, a testament to her remarkable achievements in business, innovation, and women’s economic empowerment.

In 2025, Amb. Ihwo also received the Excellence in Affordable Luxury Kitchen Solutions Award at the Africa–UK Trade & Investment Conference and Awards, in recognition of her contributions to raising industry standards and providing innovative, quality kitchen solutions through Dee Utensils.

Beyond her business accomplishments, Amb. Ihwo has distinguished herself through impactful humanitarian interventions and community development initiatives. These efforts earned her the revered traditional title of Trauraruwan Matan Kasar Jiwa (The Shining Star of Jiwa Land), bestowed in recognition of her philanthropy, service to humanity, and contributions to socio-economic development.
