The Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) has inducted 85 foreign-trained pharmacists into the Nigerian pharmaceutical profession, following the successful completion of the required assessment and registration processes.

The newly inducted pharmacists were formally welcomed into the profession after meeting the council’s regulatory requirements, enabling them to practise and contribute to healthcare delivery across the country.

The PCN said the move reflects its commitment to maintaining professional standards while expanding the pool of qualified pharmacists available to support Nigeria’s healthcare system. The council urged the new inductees to uphold ethical practices and prioritise patient safety in their professional duties.
