MOA Group, a real estate development company, has donated 300 school bags to pupils in selected public schools in the Ajah area of Lagos as part of activities marking its 10th anniversary celebration.
The donation, which took place on Friday, saw the company distribute 100 school bags each to three schools, with staff members leading the outreach programme as part of the firm’s corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at supporting education and easing the burden on parents and pupils.
Speaking on the initiative, the Managing Director of MOA Group, Mr Olawale Alabi, said the donation reflected the company’s commitment to giving back to communities that had supported its growth over the past decade.
According to him, the company considered the anniversary celebration an opportunity not only to reflect on its achievements but also to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young Nigerians through education.
Alabi said, “As we celebrate 10 years of operations, we believe it is important to look beyond our business milestones and focus on the communities that have contributed to our success. Education remains one of the most powerful tools for shaping the future, and we are delighted to support pupils with materials that can encourage learning and academic excellence.
“This initiative is our way of giving back and demonstrating that corporate success should go hand in hand with social responsibility. We understand the challenges many families face, especially with the rising cost of educational materials, and we hope this gesture will provide some relief to parents while motivating the children to remain committed to their studies.”
The managing director noted that the company had consistently embraced community-focused initiatives and would continue to invest in programmes that create positive social impact.
He added, “At MOA Group, we are committed to building more than just homes and real estate projects; we are committed to building stronger communities. Our vision has always been to contribute to sustainable development, and supporting education is a critical part of that vision.
“Ten years in business is a significant milestone, and while we are proud of what we have achieved, we are even more excited about the opportunities ahead to deepen our engagement with communities and touch more lives through impactful interventions.”
He expressed appreciation to the schools, teachers and pupils who participated in the programme and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to initiatives that promote education, youth development and community welfare.
The donation formed part of activities organised to commemorate MOA Group’s 10th anniversary, which culminated in a corporate celebration attended by stakeholders, partners, staff members and guests.
Founded as a real estate company focused on property development and investment, MOA Group said it remains committed to delivering value to its clients while contributing to the social and economic development of the communities where it operates.
