The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Zamfara State Chapter, under the leadership of Hon. Kabiru Garba Gusau has expresses its deepest condolences to the people of Sauna Community, the Talata Mafara Emirate, and the entire people of Talata Mafara Local Government Area over the horrific terrorists’ attack that claimed the lives of many innocent citizens.

This was contained in a statement issued by the State publicity secretary of the party, Comrade Abdulkareem Umar Lihidda, and made available to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital.

According to the statement, this tragic incident is another painful reminder of the persistent insecurity confronting Zamfara State.

“We strongly condemn this barbaric and inhumane act and call on all security agencies to intensify efforts to protect lives and restore confidence among our people”, the statement added.

“We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives the souls of those who lost their lives, grants them Aljannatul Firdaus, gives speedy recovery to the injured, and comforts the bereaved families with patience and strength”

“The ADC Zamfara State calls on the Federal Government and the Zamfara State Government to take urgent and decisive measures to ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are identified, arrested, and prosecuted without delay”

 “Justice must prevail, and concrete steps must be taken to prevent further attacks on innocent communities”

“We are deeply concerned that, despite the repeated attacks and humanitarian challenges facing Zamfara State, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has yet to pay an official visit to the state since assuming office”

“We respectfully appeal to Mr. President to visit Zamfara to sympathize with the victims, assess the security situation firsthand, and reassure the people that the Federal Government stands firmly with them”

“The people of Zamfara are equal citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and deserve the same compassion, attention, and protection accorded to every other part of the country”

“We therefore urge the President and all relevant authorities to strengthen security operations and implement sustainable measures that will bring lasting peace to Zamfara State”

“The African Democratic Congress remains committed to supporting every genuine effort aimed at ending insecurity and promoting peace, justice, and development in Zamfara State and across Nigeria”
