Air Peace has said that its planned launch of four new regional routes to Bamako, Conakry, Douala and Libreville would further improve connectivity across West and Central Africa and also create fresh opportunities for trade, tourism and travel businesses.

A statement yesterday by the Communication Manager, Air Peace, Efe Osifo-Whiskey, said that the airline made the statement during a forum organised for travel agencies held in Lagos.

According to him, the forum was held ahead of the commencement of the new regional services scheduled for August 1, 2026.

The statement also quoted the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Air Peace, Mr. Nowel Ngala, as saying that the new destinations were a major milestone in the airline’s regional expansion strategy.

He emphasised that the additional services would enhance connectivity across West and Central Africa, facilitate trade and tourism, and create greater opportunities for passengers as well as travel agencies.

Ngala assured that Air Peace was committed to working closely with travel partners to ensure the success of the expanded regional network.

He further lauded travel agencies for their contributions towards the growth of the airline.

He said: “You are ambassadors of the Air Peace brand. Every booking you make, every customer you advise, every itinerary you recommend and every passenger you entrust to Air Peace contributes directly to our success.

“Your dedication, professionalism and belief in our airline have played a significant role in making Air Peace what it is today.”

Also, the President of the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA), Dr Yinka Folami commended Air Peace for its sustained investment in route expansion.

Folami who was represented at the occasion by the association’s Vice President, Lagos Zone, Yinka Olapade, stated that the new regional services would would strengthen regional integration, facilitate seamless travel and create new business opportunities for travel agencies across the region.

Also speaking, the Senior Vice President for Sabre Travel Solutions in Central and West Africa, Allen Awosikunde, congratulated the airline on the expansion, noting that the new routes would further strengthen connectivity within the sub-region and support economic growth.

Also, the Manager for Air Commerce at Travelport, Funmilayo Ogunsanwo, lauded Air Peace’s growing regional network, saying the additional destinations would stimulate business growth, improve connectivity and generate more revenue opportunities for travel agencies.

She also commended the airline for its continued investment in opening new markets for the travel trade.

During the forum, Air Peace’s domestic, international and regional sales teams made presentations showing the airline’s expanding route network, operational capabilities, route performance and customer-focused offerings.
