The calibration flight successfully arrived at Gusau International Airport with seven aviation experts on board, marking another significant milestone towards the full operationalisation of the airport.

The team was received by the Ag. Permanent Secretary, Zamfara State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Amiru Musa Anka, Managing Director of the Airport, Alhaji Kabir Yahaya Gusau, Project Principal Consultant, Engr. Begha Inyamkume and other officials and stakeholders.

The experts are in Zamfara to conduct calibration and flight-checks of the newly installed navigational and communication equipment to verify their accuracy, reliability and compliance with required aviation and safety standards.

The arrival of the calibration flight further demonstrates the steady progress being made towards the commencement of safe, reliable and efficient air transportation services at Gusau International Airport.
