Tyson Fury has enlisted the help of Mike Tyson in a bid to get his fight with Anthony Joshua over the line, reports mirror.co.uk.

The pair had signed separate deals to fight each other earlier this year – just days after Fury’s comeback win over Arslanbek Makhmudov. Joshua’s contract stipulated that the mouthwatering all-British showdown must take place in the UK. However, Netflix and the Saudi Arabian moneymen funding the fight want the fight to be moved to New York.

Joshua would be willing to fight in America, provided he is rewarded financially for his efforts. But as of yet, a deal has not been agreed. Recent reports suggested that the ‘Gypsy King’ could move on from his fight with Joshua if an agreement has not been made by the end of the week.

In a post uploaded to Instagram on Wednesday evening, Fury issued yet another call-out to Joshua alongside heavyweight icon Tyson, saying: “AJ, sign the contract, big boy,” to which Tyson chimed in, saying: “He says you are scared,” while Fury added: “He is scared alright because I am going to knock his ass spark out.” Tyson can be heard repeating: “You hear that.” Fury ended the video with a warning to Joshua: “You are getting chinned.”

Earlier in the day, Fury had expressed his frustration over the ongoing delay, stating: “There is still no deal done and it’s getting quite tiring. I’ve been down to fight in every location that’s been mentioned; England, Ireland, Vegas, New York, back to England, back to Ireland, back to New York.

“I’ve said yes every time with zero stipulations. The facts are, I feel like you’re being a coward. I feel like you don’t want to fight and you’re just conning everybody. I feel like you’ve been doing that for years. You’ve had many opportunities to fight me, but deep down you never really wanted it. So let’s see if you’re going to man up the final time.

“Let’s f***ing fight. It’s a boxing match; you’ve been banjoed before plenty of times. You’ve been knocked spark out a few times, so what? What’s the worst that can happen? I’m going to f***ing chin you, 100 per cent, but it’s nothing that hasn’t been done before!”

On Wednesday morning, promoter Frank Warren revealed to reporters, including Mirror Fighting, that Fury has signed the contract for the fight, while Joshua’s remains overdue. “The latest is Joshua’s not signed yet,” he said.

“It’s not for me to give him (a deadline); it’s the people who are paying the money. It’s all this stuff, as I said from the beginning; it’s about contracts. I know what the contracts say. The contracts have all got to be amended. And it’s about people…

“Tyson’s signed. Tyson’s done. He don’t care when the fight takes place. They want it in New York, they want it in Barbados, they want it on the Isle of Wight. He’s signed. He’s done.

“He signed for the fight in January. And the fight’s supposed to take place in September, but what happened with AJ and his accident, that all got pushed back. And where we got to with it was obviously AJ had his fight back, late, and we’d already had that one in December with Jake Paul.

“Then he had another fight back with that MMA guy, struggled in that. And then, it was decided to put it on in November. But one contract says one venue, the other contract says another venue, and the TV contract says another venue.”
