Member representing Gummi/Bukkuyum federal constituency in Zamfara State, Hon. Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi has provided food and cash intervention to the families of those killed and injured victims of road IED explosions planted by suspected bandits along Gurusu–Gwashi road in the Bukkuyum local government area.

The measure was part of the lawmaker’s commitment to the plight of the victims of banditry activities and other disasters in his constituency, noting that the gesture is aimed at alleviating their hardship.

Each family of the deceased received one hundred thousands Naira and two bags of maize, while each injured victim receiving treatment at the hospitals which was also sponsored by the lawmaker, and were given fifty thousand Naira and one bag of maize.

The recipients commended the federal lawmaker for alleviating their economic hardship, saying that he feels concern over their plights.

The prayed Almighty Allah rewards Hon. Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi, protect and guide him in all his affairs.
