Anyone can sell you a product. But do you get help when a need arises?

Across three days at Landmark, from 27 to 29 October 2026, thousands of visitors put that idea to the test, and their questions kept returning to the same simple things: who fixes it, how fast, and will they come to me? itel Energy’s answer was a commitment visitors could measure: resolution within 48 hours, door-to-door service that comes to your home or business, five flagship service centres, and over 200 service centres across more than 60 cities, backed by Carlcare and Transsion Group’s network of over 2,000 service centres spread across sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

For SunFi, one of itel Energy’s key distributors, the 48-hour resolution commitment is an important part of delivering reliable service to consumers. Rotimi Thomas, Co-founder and CEO of SunFi, explained how the commitment supports the company’s distribution platform and influences customers’ purchasing decisions.

SunFi, which entered the market in 2022, is a distribution platform for fintech products across Nigeria and also offers payment plans for customers who want to pay in instalments.

Speaking on the importance of itel Energy’s 48-hour resolution commitment, Thomas said: “The 48-hour resolution commitment from itel Energy is very important to us as a distribution platform because we don’t make the product, and when a consumer buys a product, they are buying a trusted service and a promise of being able to replace or repair the asset when there is a problem.

“So we rely on itel Energy’s ability to absorb the product back when there is a reported issue and fix or replace it within 48 hours. It’s a very critical service to enable a distributor like us to provide a trusted service to consumers.”

Thomas also explained that the commitment has influenced customers’ decisions to buy by giving them confidence that issues will be resolved quickly.

“It has influenced customers’ decisions to buy because they have a guarantee of trusted aftercare service. When there is an issue and there is a problem, unlike other equipment they buy in the market, they will be able to get a repair or resolution very fast.

“And that social proof is what makes them go and tell other people that this works and you can trust it. So, if you are getting rid of your generator, you don’t want to get into another wahala,” he said.

The importance of after-sales support also extends beyond the initial purchase, particularly as buyers weigh the cost of an energy solution against its specifications, reliability and the service available if something goes wrong. For prospective customers, understanding a brand’s warranty coverage, response time, repair or replacement arrangements, and access to service centres can be important considerations when making an investment.

Dr. Lucky Ovenseri, itel Energy’s National Distributor Manager, was among the industry representatives at the exhibition, where after-sales support and the importance of a reliable service network formed part of the conversations around energy solutions. For buyers considering an investment, a clear service promise, accessible support centres and defined repair or replacement arrangements can be important factors when choosing a brand.

Alongside the after-sales service showcase, the newly launched PowerTank 1000 and IP54 11kW Hybrid Inverter attracted significant attention at the itel Energy stand, with visitors keen to understand how each solution caters to different power needs across homes and businesses.

The PowerTank 1000 generated strong interest among homeowners, small business owners, and individuals seeking a compact, versatile power solution for everyday use. The live demonstration, which featured the unit powering a water dispenser and a mini chiller, drew considerable engagement, with visitors asking questions about runtime, battery capacity, and its ability to support essential home appliances and small business equipment.

Meanwhile, the IP54 11kW Hybrid Inverter attracted homeowners and business operators looking for a more robust power solution capable of supporting larger household appliances and higher-demand business equipment. Visitors made enquiries about pricing, installation requirements, warranty coverage, and the inverter’s parallel capability, particularly its potential to support greater power demands.

Reliable after-sales service also involves what happens after a customer reports a problem. A clear process for receiving complaints, arranging technical assessment, and providing repairs or replacements can help customers understand what to expect when they need assistance. For users, following installation guidelines, operating equipment within its recommended capacity and seeking help from qualified service personnel when necessary can also contribute to the proper use and maintenance of their power solutions.

Across both product demonstrations, conversations also highlighted the importance of reliable after-sales support, with visitors showing interest in itel Energy’s 24/7 response and 48-hour resolution service promise. Overall, the engagement provided an opportunity to demonstrate the practical applications of both products, address customer concerns, and position itel Energy as a provider of power solutions for diverse residential and commercial needs.

As the exhibition closed, itel Energy’s position was clear. Reliable energy is not only what you install, but who answers when you call. For more on itel Energy’s products and service network, follow itel Energy Nigeria on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
