It is overwhelming how great virtues known with humanity are diminishing. Care for the underprivileged remains a cardinal responsibility for all, but undertaken by few. Stockpiling of resources and aggrandisement has been regularised by folks.
However, in the midst of common grandstanding sought by most people, there a handful of uncommon individuals who have kept sacrosanct their vows to prioritise the welfare of the indigent. Chijioke Emmanuel Nwadavid, founder of NecBullion Charity Foundation, is one of the few on the surface of the earth giving the poor a reason to smile.
Though it was registered as a Non-governmental Organisation (NGO) in 2021, the NecBullion Charity Foundation is over a decade old in bringing smiles to the faces of poor Nigerians. For more than 10 years, it has dedicated itself to making the world a better place for the less privileged. It’s pioneer, Nwadavid, is the CEO of NecBullion Concept Limited, an ECOWAS youth ambassador and entrepreneur.
Through Nwadavid, NecBullion Charity Foundation has not only religiously stuck to the purpose for which it was established, it has expanded its services to cater for all shades of the needy in the society. Apart from directly reaching to the poor, the organisation has undertaken several renovation projects of public infrastructure, such as schools and donated equipment to aid learning process for indigent children.
NecBullion Charity Foundation is a ray hope to widows, women and youths who seek empowerment for self-reliance.
“NecBullion Charity Foundation is a foundation that seeks to provide basic needs for indigent children aged 0 to 15 years old, in indigent communities littered all over Nigeria. Such needs would range from hospital bill at birth in hospitals where parents can’t afford the bills to care kits for the younger children as they get home,” Nwadavid said.
Speaking further, Nwadavid said, “Others would include school materials such as note books and text books, and clothing. It is important to provide access to quality healthcare and medical services for indigent children. Where there is no good healthcare, our activities would sound unrealistic. Only healthy children can enjoy other benefits. Our focus is on aged 0 – 15 years old.
“Because a society is not made up of only children and widows, there are other progress-seeking humans who would need assistance so there is love, peace and security for coexistence, we aim to assist and support indigent persons, male and female, skilled and unskilled, who may require the assistance of the foundation in areas of livelihood, health, legal, motivation and advice. Just in summary”.
Speaking further on his philanthropic gestures, Nwadavid added, “I’ve had many moments in my life as a philanthropist that has brought tears to my eyes, times when i see hope in the eyes of someone that once felt hopeless before they encountered me. I can’t pinpoint one as the most touching because they have all touched my heart in one way or the other. The one thing that has stood out for me so far as a philanthropist is seeing that my helping others made other people have faith in humanity again.”
