Adedire emerges new president of Integral Club of Okemesi
The immediate past chairman, Nigerian Institute of Town Planners, Lagos state chapter, Bisi Adediri has been elected as new president of the Integral Club Of Okemesi, Ekiti State.
In his acceptance speech, Adedire pledged to follow up and continue all the good works that the past presidents have embarked upon, such the scholarships and assistance rendered to students, the social work for the communities, and the town in general.
Members of the executives elected to run the affairs of the club for the next two years are Mr. Ayo Olatunji (vice president I), Peter Akinwale (vice president II), Bayo Agboola (general secretary), Mr. Olawoye Oladokun (assistant general secretary), and Mr. Bisi Olagunju (financial secretary/ treasurer).
Others are, Goke Bakare as social secretary, Mr. Akinlolu Aderibigbe was returned as welfare secretary, Tunde Ajanuku as the chief whip while Mr. Bayo Adegun is an ex officio.
Adedire reaffirmed that the new executives will serve the club in fairness at all times and with a commitment to promote the common good of the association.
He said: “Despite the “Covid-19 pandemic, we were able to sail through. We shall continue our support to other club members, promote and maintain harmonious relationships among members. We need to project the image of the club and all its members and must be good ambassadors of the integral club wherever we find ourselves.”
The new president also lauded the association’s past leaders and the president emeritus, Dr. Yinka Olagunju for establishing a solid legacy for others to follow.
