A payments education and advisory group, Intreensic, has been unveiled with a mission to bridge Africa’s payment and fintech talent gap by equipping professionals and businesses with world-class payment expertise.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Intreensic, Nkebet Mesele said the move aims to address the need for structured training and certification in the payment sector across Africa.

According to him, the payment ecosystem is evolving rapidly, yet many professionals struggle to access structured learning and industry-recognised credentials.

The goal, he said, was to equip individuals and businesses with the educational certifications, knowledge, and skills necessary to thrive in the rapidly evolving global payments industry.

While analysing a comprehensive approach to payments training and consulting, Nkebet stressed that Intreensic operates across three key pillars of consulting, training and certification as well as talent resourcing.

He noted that the approaches help businesses define and implement digital and payment strategies tailored to the African market, even as they deliver structured learning programmes as well as connect trained professionals with corporates seeking skilled talent and ensuring a steady pipeline of industry-ready experts.

As part of its growth strategy, he added that Intreensic plans to establish localised operations in key African markets, including Kenya and South Africa.

According to him, the company also fosters partnerships with leading corporations, regulators, and industry bodies to drive professionalisation and innovation in Africa’s payments sector.

“Our digital learning platform enables professionals across Africa to access our training programmes remotely. With a growing community of learners, we are equipping Africa’s payments ecosystem with world-class expertise, empowering businesses to scale, innovate, and compete globally,” he said.
