AGSUOBA celebrates school, hosts global president

The President of the Lagos chapter of the association, Okey Odibeli, disclosed this in a statement signed by the Secretary, Mr. Cletus Nwanze.

Odibeli described the election of Lagos chapter members, Dr. Ohen as the President General and Mr. Felix Oscars Osakwe as the Publicity Secretary of the National/Global body AGSUOBA during the recent National Anglican Grammar School

Ubulu-Uku Old Boys Association delegates’ convention at the school’s Assembly Hall in Ubulu-Uku on Sunday, April 17, as a boost to the Lagos chapter.

The duo, he said, would be celebrated at the monthly meeting of the chapter billed to take place tomorrow at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Idi-Araba Lagos.

Odibeli explained that AGSUOBA, Lagos chapter, was launched in early 1970s at the Surulere residence of Mr. Emma Anene, and relaunched on Saturday, September 19 1992 at Sheraton Hotel in Lagos.

“The purpose of the old boys association” he said, “is to give back to our Alma Mater at its point of need. All old boys domiciled in Lagos are invited to the epoch-making meeting.”
