The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) has assured its members that the leadership of the association is taking all necessary steps to reposition the union to continue to pursue welfare issues that will uplift the living standards of members throughout the country.
The union stated this in its 2025 May Day message, where it urged its members to renew their faith and commitment to the national leadership of the union led by Shehu Mohammed.
Signed by the President and Secretary-General, Joshua Apebo, the union said the welfare matters, including but not limited to the payment of salary, promotion, and elongation arrears.
It said the welfare matters also include the first 28 days instead of hotel accommodation and restoration of gratuity to public service employees.
Additionally, the union said the creation of vacancies to stem cases of stagnation of officers, especially at the directorate level, among others, would be given due attention.
