Pension Fund Administrator (PFA), Premium Pension, has received two International Standard Organisation’s (ISO) recertifications.

The ISO recertifications are on Information Security Management System (ISMS) ISO 27001:2013 and Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2015.

Going through the websites of PFAs in Nigeria, Premium Pension, among other operators, received ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Certification under the auspices of British Standard Institute (BSI) in the year 2015.

Commenting on the development, the company’s board chairman, Ibrahim Babayo, said: “The achievement of recertification is a visible proof of the company’s commitment to meet internationally-accepted data security standards.”

Babayo noted that the firm was the first among PFAs to achieve the feat, which had been attained through hard work and dedication to the management and staff members, who are seasoned professionals in the pension industry.

Similarly, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Premium Pension, Umar Mairami, said: “The sustained certification is an indication that the organisation takes information security a priority, reassuring stakeholders that the company deploys robust infrastructure and systems towards achieving its vision of creating value for all stakeholders.

“The recertification would strongly reinforce the confidence of retirement saving accounts holders, retirees, regulators and other stakeholders in Premium Pension.”
