CIPM to leverage technology to achieve goals
To achieve its strategic goals, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), will be leveraging on technology, creativity, and network of its stakeholders, to transform services to members.
The three strategic goals are centred on three pillars: stakeholders’ service, strengthened branches and HR practice standard.
The new President and Chairman of Council, CIPM, Wale Adediran, stated this in his acceptance speech during his investiture as the 19th President of the institute recently in Lagos.
According to him, “this will basically lead to the ‘Re-engineered Governance Foundation’ and the overall objective of making the CIPM brand more attractive through revamping of our curriculum, study packs and certification criteria/procedure.”
He promised to focus on providing standards of practice across the HR value chain, educating stakeholders on the standards as well as rewarding best practices among stakeholders.
He noted that these were geared towards the overall thrust of building a viable and strong CIPM.
While commending members of the Institute on the confidence reposed on him as president, Adediran, with the support of secretariat teams, as well as the leadership and Council, expressed optimism to deliver on the Institute’s mandate.
