Firm trains young women graduates in data science

Teleo Tech, a digital company in Lagos, has concluded plans to train young women graduates in data science.

Principal Consultant and Chief Executive Officer of Teleo Tech, Bukola Adewakun, said the training was put together in a bid to increase the participation of women in science and technology.

She said the beginners’ class is a five-day training programme that would position young ladies to take opportunities in the science field.

According to her, there is a growing demand for data scientists and analysts in organisation, and with the understanding that many women do not engage core tech careers, “Teleo Tech has observed this gap and has come up with this training programme to skill up young graduates for this opportunity.”

The programme, which started yesterday runs through to February 26, 2021, at Plus Innovation Hub, 4, Sunday Adigun Street, off Kafi Street, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
