The Restore Education and Support Humanity Foundation (REASH) has empowered over 150 students of Ikorodu Junior and Senior High Schools with leadership insights, entrepreneurial skills, and essential learning materials.
The outreach, with the theme ‘Equipping the Future 1.0,’ featured an interactive session titled: “The Power of Today,” which encouraged students to develop leadership skills, embrace entrepreneurship, and take deliberate actions towards building their future.
Speaking at the event, the Founder and Convener of REASH Foundation, Famous Eki, said the initiative was designed to prepare young people for real-world challenges through practical education and mentorship.
“Every student deserves a shot at success — not just through formal education, but through hands-on learning and real-world mentorship. You hold the power to define your future, and that power lies in what you do today,” he said.
Eki added that the Foundation believes education remains the most effective tool to unlock potential and bridge socio-economic inequality. The programme included interactive sessions on character building, self-leadership, communication, and mentorship, allowing students to gain practical insights from facilitators.
The school’s management team, led by the Principal of Ikorodu Senior High School, S.I. Sanni, and the Principal of Ikorodu Junior High School, E.A. Oluloro, commended the Foundation for its generosity and vision. They described the initiative as timely, inspiring, and transformative, noting that it rekindled students’ enthusiasm for learning and strengthened their sense of purpose.
In her remarks, Co-founder of REASH Foundation, Gabriella Famous-Eki, praised the collective effort behind the outreach, highlighting that investing in education means investing in the future.
She added that the Foundation plans to expand its mentorship programmes, visit more schools, and embark on community projects focused on education, health, sanitation, and youth empowerment.
