MIPAD appoint Angela Regalado as global director of talent, diversity and inclusion

Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) are proud to announce and welcome Angela Regalado as Global Director – Talent, Diversity and Inclusion.

Ms. Regalado will be responsible for filling a fast growing global portfolio of high profile and exciting roles in the private and public sectors leveraging the extended network of MIPADians (previous, current and future honorees worldwide). Also, Angela will be overseeing the internal global HR responsibilities at MIPAD.

As global director, she will support MIPAD with advising governments, international organizations and private sector clients on best-in-class diversity and inclusion practices, sourcing exceptional talent and providing world class recruiting and retention processes to clients.

Following the release of 2020 MIPAD Global Reckoning Edition, which identified a massive gap in representation of people of African descent in the public & private sectors across the Diaspora, we received a steady influx of requests for candidates to improve their diversity quotas.

This necessitated our move to expand our talent recruitment services, said Kamil Olufowobi, CEO, MIPAD. He went on to explain, “that African governments, pan African and regional organizations are seeking exceptional talent of African descent in the Diaspora to join their teams in building the Africa we desire.”

We are excited to welcome our first global director to oversee this next phase in MIPAD’s growth to address the lack of representation, diversity and inclusion across the global Diaspora and shortage of expertise Inside Africa.
