NCCIMA appoints Cutix MD, Uzodike president

Managing Director and Chief Executive Office, Cutix Plc Mr. Ifeanyi Uzodike has been appointed as the 9th president of Nnewi Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture (NCCIMA).

Uzodike was appointed during the 19th yearly general meeting of NCCIMA recently.

The president, Linus Ilozue who handed over to Uzodike, in his address commended the founding fathers of the chamber for the idea of NCCIMA, noting it has benefitted both members and the society.


He noted that no society could effectively engage in international businesses without a strong Chambers of Commerce.

Ilozue listed some of the challenges encountered by the industrialists, saying the chamber was on the verge of solving one of its most teething problems, which was lack of power supply.

“We have met with the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, and we have his promise that the problem of lack of power in Nnewi would soon be addressed,” he said.

The Chairman, Board of Directors of Mr. John Mbonu, in his speech said one couldn’t be said to be in business if they cannot build businesses that outlive them.
