The awards, presented during the Africa the Future Conference 2025 held recently, celebrated Ndieze’s exceptional contributions to advancing youth development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the continent.

The first honour, the Award of Leadership Excellence, was presented by the 2025 National Coordinator of YANGG Nigeria, Ugbonma Ekeagbara. The award recognised Ndieze’s exceptional leadership, visionary guidance, and unwavering commitment to empowering young Africans across the continent.

According to her, the award acknowledges how his legacy of service, excellence, and transformative leadership continues to shape the future of Africa.

The second accolade, an Award of Excellence presented by the Young Africans Network for Global Goals, specifically honoured Ndieze’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to empowering youth across Africa.

The award citation highlighted his dedication to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, noting that his work has inspired countless young leaders to take bold action for societal transformation.

“Your passion for inclusivity, leadership, and community development has made a lasting impact, not only on the lives of youths but on the future of Africa as a whole,” the citation read, adding heartfelt admiration for his remarkable contributions and extraordinary vision.

Responding to the honours, Ndieze expressed gratitude for the recognition while emphasising his commitment to continuing the work of empowering African youth.

“These awards are not just a recognition of past efforts, but a call to do even more. They remind me of the enormous responsibility we carry as young African leaders to transform our continent. I am determined to work harder, to reach more young people, and to ensure that every African youth has the opportunity to contribute to building the Africa we want.”

He added that the recognition strengthens his resolve to advance YANGG’s mission of creating sustainable pathways for youth participation in Africa’s development agenda.

The Young Africans Network for Global Goals is a youth-led organisation dedicated to mobilising African youth to champion the SDGs and drive sustainable development across the continent. Under Ndieze’s leadership, the organisation has championed digital transformation and civic engagement as key pillars for Africa’s economic development.

The dual awards underscore the growing recognition of Ndieze’s role in creating platforms for young Africans to participate meaningfully in shaping the continent’s future through innovation, leadership, and civic participation.
